For help with Blend, write to us at hello@blendharmony.com. Tell us whether you use this website or the iPhone app, which device you are on, and what happened.
Getting started
Blend listens through your microphone to grade your singing, so lessons and Perform ask to use it. Dial does not use the microphone. If you blocked the microphone, turn it back on:
- In a browser, allow the microphone for blendharmony.com in the site’s settings, which most browsers open from the address bar. Then reload the page.
- In the iPhone app, open Settings, tap Blend, and turn on Microphone. The Open Settingsbutton on Blend’s microphone notice goes straight there.
Wear headphones if you can, so the microphone hears your voice and not the music. Wired headphones work best. Without headphones, keep the volume low.
Bluetooth headphones, such as AirPods, play the music late, so Blend needs to know the delay. Select the round headphones button in the corner of the lessons, Perform, or Dial screen. Under Headphone delay, choose Measure by tapping, tap along to the clicks, then choose the Use button to keep the result.
Your account
You sign in with your email address and a code that is emailed to you. If the code does not arrive, check your spam folder, then choose Resend.
The first three stages of lessons are free. You can play the first one without an account, and the second and third with a free account.
Without an account, your progress is kept only on the device you play on, in that browser or in the iPhone app. Clearing the browser’s data for this site, or deleting the app, erases it. When you sign in, it is added to your account. From then on your progress is saved to your account, and you see it wherever you sign in, on this website or in the iPhone app.
To delete your account, write to hello@blendharmony.com. In the iPhone app you can also do it yourself: tap your profile picture to open Account, then tap Delete accountand confirm. Deleting your account removes your progress and your leaderboard entries. It does not cancel a subscription bought in the iPhone app, so cancel that in your iPhone’s Settings.
Subscriptions
Blend Pro belongs to your Blend account. Wherever you bought it, it works both on this website and in the iPhone app when you sign in with the same account. You manage and cancel it where you bought it:
- On this website, sign in, select your profile picture, and choose Manage account, then Billing. You can cancel there, and you keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. To ask for a refund, write to us. The terms say when we give one.
- In the iPhone app, the subscription is with Apple. To change or cancel it, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Apple handles refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com.
If Pro does not show up in the iPhone app after you sign in, tap your profile picture, then Pricing, and tap Restore purchases.
Sound problems
Blend downloads each instrument sound the first time you use it, so you need to be online then. If you hear a plain tone instead of an instrument, the sounds are still downloading or could not be downloaded. Check your connection.
If you hear nothing, check the volume and your headphones. If Blend shows a notice that sound is paused, choose Turn sound on.
If the sound or the microphone goes quiet after you connect or disconnect headphones, or the music runs behind the notes on the staff, select the headphones button and choose Reset audio.
Terms and privacy
The terms of service cover accounts, payments, and refunds. The privacy policy explains what Blend stores and what it does not.
